Tremors 5: Thunder From Down Under

Rumours are circulating that there is to be a new Tremors Movie. According to reports the new film is to be set in Australia and subtitled The Thunder From Down Under. It’s likely to be a DVD only release.

I’ve got mixed feelings about this. I loved the original Tremors movie, but by the time of Tremors 3: Back to Perfection it had got so silly that I didn’t bother with The Legend Begins.

As usual, it all depends on the script.

The TV series made for Sci-Fi was a total balls up of the story from the movies, with only Michael Gross being the redeeming star power present. I was very disappointed that they could now wreck such a fantastic franchise.

I think I would like to see one last proper Tremors film, just to wash away the bad taste that the series has left behind. But, I would like it to have some new twist of sorts.

Perhaps they could even tell viewers the origins of the Graboids, since Wikipedia has an insightful topic about the monsters from the movies, that could be updated with new and interesting facts and trivia, even though Wikipedia generally discards the trivia sections.

I’m sure Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward would not return, due to the asking price. But the original Tremors is a cult film, so I’d like it very much if they returned to face the Graboids and all their weird evolution formations since their characters were not in the third film, and it would be fun.

I first saw the film when i was 8 years old and ever since
then i have loved it.

i can not waight until Tremors 5 comes out!

The tremors series is great and needs one more perfect chapter to finish it on a high note. Although a bad Tremors movie is better than no Tremors movie at all, to have it end with a prequel (and the least of the series too) would do us all an injustic! I still think that all Tremors fans would agree that we deserve an all out air/ground/and underground assualt for the finale! To bring back all of our beloved friends from the first one, would just be iceing on the cake!!! Val, Earl, Burt, and heck, throw in Graddy too. Tremors fans may be small, but we are mighty! I have introduced the entire universe (yes, even the tv series) to my 9 year old son and my 6 year old daughter and they love it. It is truelly a beloved franchise!
